Overwhelmed

I am overwhelmed with blessings.

I am so thankful for my community.  I am shy to say "my community" because I don't think I have earned the support that the community is showing for my boys and I.  I was overwhelmed in a different way a few weeks ago after Dr. Lei, an eye surgeon, announced the next steps in my eye upgrades.  I needed to reboot my eye site and while care is included in insurance, the cost of the parts was significant.  I prayed with my boys and and we saw GoFundMe.  They helped me launch a request for help https://www.gofundme.com/f/eyesight-restoration-for-cancer-patient and shared with one blessed person from our church, Rosario, who also coordinates the Children of Adoration Ministry at Mary Mother of God.   My boys and I were out to get some air on a Sunday night early in July when we run into Rosario.  Rosario was the first person to helped us and she shared with others and then the support poured from angels all around us.  I have been overwhelmed.  Thank you angels.  We have now paid the materials in full.  The next step is to go to Dr. Lei's specialist clinic in Windsor for the procedure in October, and then continue the follow care at the Milton Eye Surgeons (https://www.miltoneye.com/) clinic where my treatment started in February of this year.  Thank you for the blessings and the care from my boys, my community and my medical team.
